Brief Description:
Multiple Intelligences
and Project Development was a training course financed by the Key Action 1 of
the Erasmus+ programme in which 23 participating professionals from 6 different
countries worked together with the objective to use youth work and theatre
methodologies as a form of non-formal education.
La Asociación Juvenil Teatral
ON&OFF, and Dinámica Teatral as a collaborative entity, hosted from the
26th of February until the 5th of March, in Munilla, Ambitia (Slovenia),
Inceptus (Lithuania), Artimbanco (Italy),
Cirkus Stjerneskud (Denmark) and Act for Art (Greece), with the objective to learn
how to offer the young people from their entities the tools that they need to
develop their own artistic projects. In order to achieve this, they used the
theory of Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, developing workshops about
each of these intelligences, and how to utilize the knowledge of the
intelligences to develop a project. Similarly, the course looked to create new
international association that can now be the base of future cooperation within
Europe, through the Erasmus+ programme. In addition to the workshops about the
different intelligences and the development of projects, the participants
participated in cultural excursions and intercultural activities. In addition to
this, the participants had the opportunity to visit the ON&OFF facilities
and to try some of the workshops with a group of young people that had
previously participated in workshops related to the theory of the Multiple
Intelligences and in theatre.
Juan Escalona Corral and Silvia Saénz of ON&OFF,
Alejandro Ramonda of Dinámica Teatral.
